About Us

Mesher Supply has been in business 100 years as of 2018. When reaching
a milestone like this, it has given all of us time to reflect on what this
company has meant to each of the communities it serves and the families
that it has supported.

With the celebration in our midst, we decided that in lieu of throwing a big
event, we would reach out to our Vendors and Reps and ask them to make
a donation to the Friendly House for the Rebecca hall Longaker
Scholarship Fund.

What is The Rebecca Hall Longaker Scholarship Fund?: Its purpose is to aid
homeless and low-income families with free or reduced tuition to Friendly
House Children Programs. Over the years, hundreds of children have
benefitted from the opportunity to participate in preschool, after school
programming, and summer camp – all because of Rebecca’s fund. In
addition to having a safe place to be, children receive nutritious snacks,
participate in homework help and activity clubs such as dance, music, art,
science, outdoor exploration and sports. Scholarship kids get one-on-one
tutoring as well. Families receive weekly groceries, warm coats, shoes, and
holiday gifts.

We are happy to report, we raised $205,200 for the fund, the largest
donation FriendlyHouse has ever received.
